David Kuehler’s artworks are inspired by his experiences in stage and film where he explores themes of social status, remembrance and materiality. His solo and group exhibitions include: Be Safe Be Seen, at the Burren College of Art, in Ballyvaughan, Ireland, 2020, at Kehler Liddell Gallery, and The Will to Change: Gathering as Praxis at the Lyman Allyn Museum. As a performer, his credits include, Reginald Denny in Patrick Sheane Duncan's world premiere, Souls on Fire and HBO's groundbreaking film, Tuskeegee Airmen. David served as adjunct faculty at Art Center College of Design and guest lecturer, at Stanford University’s, Hasso-Plattner Institute of Design. He is a past participant in the Sundance Institute’s Producers Lab. David holds a BFA in Painting from the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts, and he studied acting under E. Katherine Kerr at Playwrights Horizons in New York.
