Karen is a painter and printmaker working in linocut, woodcut and mono print. Her abstract imagery draws on reflections of domesticity, color relationships, and memory of the spaces we occupy. Each painting or print is unique, with color, pattern, process and mark-making, all playing an integral role. Her intent is to create a situational space that contains a sense of natural beauty and intuitive
