I create work that addresses fragmentation and fluidity, often employing the acts of cutting, deconstructing, and reassembling. Preferring a limited color palette, I juxtapose patterns and shapes to examine the graphic energy found in the discarded. Inspired by DADA, Abstract Expressionism, and EcoArt, my sculptures and installations present a dialogue around sustainable practices and human connectivity. My work explores the dichotomies of consumption and sustainability, rigidity and flow, moderation, and excess. I am interested in the intersection of the material and spiritual, the altered and recombined, addressing the notions of transcendence and restitution.
