Martha Willette Lewis is a visual artist, curator, and radio presenter who has exhibited nationally and internationally. Her artistic practice focuses on drawing, Site-Specific Installation, books, knowledge, and the history of science. She has produced experimental work across media and genres in her studio (The Elaboratory ) since 2007 and enjoys throwing her doors open to the public once a year for the annual open-studios festival.

For this year's event she will be sharing her studio space with noted Collage artist Clymenza Hawkins.Clymenza's Handcut mixed-media works will offer a lyrical figurative counterpoint to Lewis' colorful abstractions and atmospheric nature-based works. The Elaboratory will feature a colorful and lively mix of experiments with assemblage, rubbings, light-works and projection, Fluid dynamics, hand-made prints, photo-collage, drawing and more.
